My my, I have a very impatient husband. He wants to get out of bed and sit in a chair (then his catheter can come out of his bladder). The nurse wants him to wait for the physical therapist, but he wants it NOW. I'm thinking that bringing in his bike on the trainer would be a good thing.
And, he wants coffee, with cream, and a cookie. He is a hungry man. I'm in his room watching CSPAN (true love). I tried to convince him that he really loves to watch Lifetime, but I couldn't pull that one over on him--yet.

Great photo. Glamour Shots is going to be calling for their new model! I can bring in cookies and coffee but I have a feeling the nurses are going to say NO WAY! Keep up the good work and good luck with Lifetime!
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear your husband is doing well after surgery. Wishes for a speedy recovery.
ReplyDeleteDr. Bash, thanks for keeping us all informed about Stu's recovery, we wish him well and hoping that he was able to resolve "the UPS problem". Saule
ReplyDeleteSo happy everything is going so well!!! Hoping you'll be back on your feet in no time!!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear things are going well. Nurses be darned Stu... when I get to the States on Sun I'll bring you a Starbuck's coffee and a cookie!!
ReplyDeleteA little Starbucks couldn't be a bad thing. . . even half a cup for him? Maybe you should ask those nurses again. It IS a liquid at least.

Cheryl and I are delighted to hear than Stu came through this with flying colors. We have been praying for both of you and this blog has brought lots of good news.
ReplyDeleteCheryl believes that Stu has raised the bar for husbands when he came out of surgery and said the most important words "I love you" not "I don't have health insurance".
Continued progress is making a full recovery -- we send our love.
